PBHS has established dedicated fundraising channels in the United States, the UK, Australia and New Zealand and Canada to make it easier for international donors to support the school.

These cross-border funds provide a secure, transparent, and tax-efficient way for donors to contribute directly to Pretoria Boys High School, ensuring that all donations are received and applied in line with the school’s strategic priorities. This initiative strengthens our global alumni and donor network while enabling meaningful investment in the school’s ongoing excellence and future development.

Donors from the USA

U.S.-based donors can make tax-deductible contributions to the Pretoria Boys High School US Fund at Myriad USA. Because Myriad USA is a public charity, within the definition of Sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1) of the IRC, donors may claim the maximum tax benefits allowed by U.S. tax law for their contributions. The Pretoria Boys High School Friends Fund is specifically dedicated to the school’s Access to Excellence Programme which seeks to fill the funding gap by supporting disadvantaged boys who cannot afford quality education. By doing so, the school ensures that financial barriers do not prevent talented learners from accessing opportunity and reaching their potential.

Donors from the UK

Pretoria Boys High School is supported in the UK by the UK Fund for Charities, a UK-based and registered charity (Charity Number: 1097462) that enables UK taxpayers to support approved overseas charitable organisations in a tax-efficient manner. The Fund is able to accept donations on behalf of PBHS, and then, in turn, makes a donation to our organisation. Through this partnership, alumni and friends of the school who are UK taxpayers can make donations to Pretoria Boys High School and, where applicable, benefit from UK Gift Aid, increasing the value of their contribution at no additional cost to themselves. This giving channel makes it easier than ever for our UK-based community to support the school’s educational, scholarship, and infrastructure initiatives while maximising the impact of their generosity.

Donations to the Scholarships at Pretoria Boys High School Project are directed specifically to the Access to Excellence Programme, which helps bridge the funding gap by providing quality education opportunities for academically deserving boys from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Myriad Canada Foundation is a registered charitable organization in Canada under number 76978 4893 RR0001. It is authorised to receive donations and issue tax receipts to donors.
