Form 1 Camp 2026: Where the Journey Begins

In January 2026, our newest boys arrived excited, nervous, and ready to begin their journey. The annual Form 1 Camp is one of the most important traditions in the school calendar, and this year was no exception. Over two unforgettable days, the boys stepped out of their comfort zones, formed new friendships, and discovered what it truly means to be part of the Boys High brotherhood.
The camp programme was designed to challenge and inspire. Through a variety of activities, the boys learned the core values that define a Boys High boy: courage, resilience, respect, and teamwork. Whether navigating problem-solving challenges, working together in teams, or supporting one another through new experiences, the message was clear: no one stands alone.
One of the most powerful aspects of the camp is how quickly strangers become teammates. Boys from different primary schools and backgrounds quickly discovered common ground. By the end of camp, new friendships had formed that will likely last throughout their school careers and beyond.
Of course, camp would not be camp without plenty of fun. Between the challenges and team activities there were moments of pure enjoyment: laughter around meals, spirited competition, and the kind of memories that boys will talk about for years to come.
Equally important were the lessons learned. The camp serves as an introduction not just to the school, but to the expectations and values that shape the culture of Boys High. Leadership, kindness, accountability, and pride in the badge were themes woven throughout the experience.
By the time the camp concluded, despite being exhausted, they returned more confident, more connected, and ready to embrace everything that lies ahead.
For many, Form 1 Camp is the moment the journey truly begins; the first chapter in what will become some of the most formative years of their lives.
