A Musical Extravaganza at Pretoria Boys High School.

Pretoria Boys High School’s annual production saw a host of talented boys performing the much-anticipated Sweeney Todd: a macabre celebration of storytelling, sound and performance art. This event, a highlight on the school’s cultural calendar, once again showcased PBHS’s artistic excellence.
The performing ensemble included a group of incredible actors accompanied by the school’s full orchestra whose perfectly coordinated efforts earned them several standing ovations from the audience. Months of planning and rehearsals by the dedicated production team ensured a seamless event. From the lighting design, the props meticulously created by the art department, to the sound engineering – every detail enhanced the audience’s experience.
The concert was more than just a performance; it was a testament to the skill and talent that the school boasts. Every aspect of the performance was coordinated by school boys – there were no professionals involved in this production – and the quality was of the highest standard.
The concert celebrated the PBHS community as parents, teachers, students, and alumni came together to support the performers. Proceeds from the event will benefit the school’s music and arts programs, ensuring that future generations enjoy quality artistic education.
This year’s success sets the stage for even greater productions in the future, and the PBHS community eagerly anticipates what’s to come.
Bravo to all who made the concert a memorable success!
